Ingredients

  • bread - old, slices
  • eggs - 5
  • milk - 1 1/2 cups
  • rum - 1 - 2 tablespoons or an ampule of rum essence
  • vanilla - 1 powder packet
  • powdered sugar - 1 - 2 tbsp
  • salt - 2 pinches
  • oil - for frying
  • fruits - for garnish

How to make

Beat the eggs with the powdered sugar. Add the milk, rum and vanilla, as well as 2 pinches of salt. Heat the oil for frying.

Dip each bread slice in the egg and-milk mixture and fry to a delicious tan on both sides.

Serve the French toast with rum in a plate and garnish with fresh fruit of your choice.
