Ingredients

  • honey – 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • water - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • walnuts - 1 cup. chopped
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • flour

Preparation

Liquid honey is dissolved in water. To this mixture add the oil, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and flour, and prepare moderately firm dough.

Roll out a layer crust with a thickness of 5 mm. With the desired shapes or small glass, cut out biscuits.

Sprinkle with walnuts and place them in a tray covered with baking paper. l Put the lean honey biscuits in to bake in a moderately hot oven.
