Ingredients

  • milk - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml) or butter
  • sugar - 4/5 cup (180 g)
  • vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 cup (250 g)
  • eggs - 2
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • poppy seeds - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g)
  • oranges - 2 to 3 tsp crusts

How to make

Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 °C). Beat the eggs until whitened and add the sugar and vanilla sugar.

While stirring constantly, add the slightly melted butter, milk and pre-sifted flour and baking powder.

As soon as it is a homogeneous mixture, mix in the poppy seeds and orange peels. Pour the cake batter into a greased cake pan or tray.

Put it to bake for 40 minutes.
