Ingredients

  • onions - 1 medium head chopped
  • garlic - 2 cloves, chopped
  • peppers - 1 green, finely chopped
  • olive oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • ketchup - 1/2 cup (125 ml)
  • tomato paste - 4/5 cup (175 ml)
  • vinegar - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml ) apple
  • worcestershire sauce - 6 tablespoons
  • lemons - juice of 1
  • juice - 2/3 cup (150 ml) pineapple
  • tabasco sauce - 2 tsp
  • molasses - 1 tbsp
  • brown sugar - 3 tbsp
  • dijon mustard - 3 tablespoons
  • mustard - 1 tsp, dry, powdered, English
  • black pepper - 1 tsp ground
  • salt - 1 tsp

How to make

Heat the olive oil and add the onion, peppers and garlic and sauté for 3 minutes to soften slightly. Add all other ingredients and allow the sauce to boil.

Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, until thickened. Apply the ready sauce to the meat or vegetables for barbecue.

In a closed container in the refrigerator, it can last one week.
