  • yogurt - 2 cups (500 g)
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 4 tbsp
  • flour - about 2 1/2 cups
  • oil - 1 cup


Dissolve the baking soda in the yogurt and add the sugar, then the flour gradually until you get a dough. It needs to have a consistency thicker than that of a cake mixture. Allow it to rest for 15 minutes.

Scoop a tablespoon (oiled) of dough and drop the fritters in a deep pot with preheated oil to fry on both sides. You can serve them sprinkled with powdered sugar, honey, jam, etc.find similar recipes here
