Ingredients

  • yeast – 0.7 oz (20 g)
  • milk - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • eggs - 3 egg yolks
  • vanilla - 1 packet
  • lemons – 1
  • flour
  • oil - for frying
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

Preparation

Dissolve the yeast in a little warm milk with a pinch of sugar. then add theremaining milk, eggs, vanilla, lemon juice and flour, knead a soft dough. Allow it to rise.

Shape the dough into small donuts and drop them to fry in hot oil.

Serve the fritters, donuts sprinkled with powdered sugar.
