Ingredients

  • eggs – 6
  • yogurt - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • soda - 3 packs
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • lemons - zest of 1 lemon
  • sugar - 3 tea cup
  • lard - 1 and 1/2 tea cup melted
  • vanilla – 3
  • nuts - 4/5 cup (200 g) crushed wholesale, you may also use raisins
  • flour - enough to make a soft dough for (about 6 1/5 cups (1.5 kg)

Preparation

Beat the eggs and add them to the two types of soda dissolved in yogurt. Add sugar, fat, vanilla and lemon rind. Beat well, add nuts or raisins and start adding flour. Knead soft and smooth dough.

If you squeeze the dough firmly, the cookies will be tough. Roll the dough into a sheet of about 5-6 mm and cut out desired shapes cookies. Top them with beaten egg yolk and sprinkle with a little sugar.

Put to bake until pink, in a preheated oven at 356°F (180 °C).
