Ingredients

  • semolina – 1 1/2 cup
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • sugar - to taste 1 cup
  • water - 2 cups
  • almonds - 1 cup peeled and lightly crushed, maybe use walnuts
  • citric acid - 1 tbsp (15 g)
  • cinnamon - 1 stick

Preparation

Boil the oil and put the peeled almonds in the semolina. Fry until golden and the almond and semolina become flushed. In a separate dish, boil water with sugar. Add a cinnamon stick and citric acid.

Pour the fried meal in gently. Leave it to the side until the meal takes the syrup in. While the halva is hot, put it in forms at the bottom of which is placed some chopped almonds.

When the halva cools, turn it. The resulting shapes are sprinkled with powdered sugar.
