  • tomatoes - 2lb (1 kg)
  • water - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
  • oranges - juice of 2 fruits
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • vinegar - 2 tsp
  • preservatives - 1/2 packet

How to make

Clean and cut the tomatoes into small pieces. Add the orange juice, water, salt, sugar, stir and put this on the stove to boil. Boil for about 10 minutes or until the tomatoes dissolve.

After removing the mixture from the heat allow it to stand for 5 minutes in a closed container. Pass the tomatoes through a sieve or mash them well. Put the juice on the stove once again to boil and then immediately take it off, add the vinegar and preservatives.

Distribute the juice into bottles and store in a cool, dark place.
