measures

How to make

Beat the egg white into snow. Add it to the rest of the ingredients for the dough, with the yeast dissolved in hot water. Prepare a slightly elastic dough that does not stick. Divide it into uniform pellets slightly larger than a walnut. Form each ball into a wick, from 8 (20 cm) to 12 (30 cm) long, as desired.

Twist 2 wicks together, stick the ends together to form the bagel. Another option is to make a longer wick, cut it in half and then twist. Choose however you want to twist your bagel. Place them in an oiled tray to rise for 15 minutes, brush with beaten egg yolk and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake at 390°F (200 °C) for 15-20 minutes or until they gain the desired color. After you take them out and they cook slightly, sprinkle them with powdered sugar if desired.

Enjoy!
