Ingredients

  • sprat - 24.5 oz (700 g) fresh, frozen
  • salt - if necessary
  • flour - for rolling
  • garlic - 1 tsp, powdered
  • parsley - 1 tsp, dried
  • lemon zest - grated rind of 1 lemon
  • oil - for frying

Preparation

Mix the flour with a little salt, garlic powder, dried parsley and lemon rind.

Roll 1/3 of the sprats in the flour mixture and drop to fry in preheated oil. Use a slotted spoon to remove and drain the fried sprats on paper towels.

Fry the other 2/3 of the sprats and enjoy these aromatic little fish.find similar recipes here
