Ingredients

  • rice - 1 cup (250 g)
  • sugar - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • butter - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • milk - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • eggs – 4
  • fruits - 2 oz (50 g) candied raisins
  • vanilla sugar - 1 packet
  • walnuts
  • butter – to spread
  • breadcrumbs - for sprinkling

Preparation

Clean the rice and rinse it, then scald it 3 separate times in hot water. Put it to boil for 10 minutes, then strain it, top it with hot milk.

Simmer it for about 20 minutes and let it cool slightly. Separately, beat butter and sugar into foam, gradually add the egg yolks, vanilla sugar, cleaned raisins, chopped candied fruit, rice, and finally the beaten to snow egg whites.

Pour the mixture into a greased and covered in breadcrumbs pan. Put the lid on and cook for 30-40 minutes. Before presenting, transfer the pudding to a plate. Optionally, serve the rice pudding with fruit syrup or jam.find similar recipes here
