Ingredients

  • flour - 1 cup (250 g)
  • sugar – 2 tbsp (30 g)
  • eggs - 3.
  • milk - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • yeast – 2 tsp (10 g)
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oil - for frying
  • for sprinkling
  • chocolate – grated
  • castor sugar

Preparation

Dissolve the yeast in little slightly warm fresh milk. Add the sugar, flour, egg yolks and a little salt. The whites are broken down into snow and added to other products.

The dough is allowed to warm for about 1 hour to rise. Roll out a thin sheet with a thickness of 0.4″ (1 cm). With a cup or shape, cut the circles and leave them for 30 minutes to rise, then fry in very hot oil until tender.

Hot donuts are sprinkled thoroughly with a mixture of grated chocolate and powdered sugar.
