Ingredients

  • macaroni - 14 oz (400 g)
  • olive oil - 3 - 4 tbsp
  • sour cream - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • blue cheese - 5 oz (150 g)
  • processed cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • mozzarella - 5 oz (150 g)
  • cheddar - 5 oz (150) g
  • basil - 1 tsp dry

How to make

Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water. Once ready, drain the macaroni (which should not be over boiled) and pour olive oil over them. In a suitable deep pot, pour the sour cream. Use very low heat to bring to a boil.

To this, add the sliced into small cubes Mozzarella cheese, processed cheese and blue cheese. Grate the cheddar on a coarse grater. Add half of it to the other cheeses.

Allow the mixture to simmer on very low heat until thickened, while stirring. When thickened, pour in the boiled macaroni, sprinkle with basil and mix.

Leave it for another 4-5 minutes on the stove. Before serving, sprinkle with the remaining cheddar! Bon appetit!
