Ingredients

  • pasta - 12.5 oz (350 g), by choice
  • mushrooms - 9 oz (250 g)
  • butter - 2 tbsp (30 g)
  • oil - 2 tsp
  • onions - 1 head
  • garlic - 1 - 2 cloves
  • black pepper
  • for the tomato sauce
  • tomatoes - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • onions - 1 head
  • carrots - 1
  • celery - 1 sprig
  • basil
  • sugar
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to make

First, prepare the tomato sauce. Heat the olive oil and stew the onion until soft. Add the grated tomatoes, salt, black pepper, 1-2 pinches of sugar and some basil and boil on low heat to thicken (usually about 30 minutes).

Heat oil and fry until the chopped onions are golden brown. Add the mushrooms, cut them into pieces and fry for another 3-4 minutes.

Pour the finished tomato sauce in and bring it to a boil. Boil the pasta in salted water until soft. Drain out the liquid from the boiling, place the pasta into a deep dish for serving. Serve with butter and pour the prepared tomato sauce on.

You can garnish with 1-2 basil leaves.
