Ingredients

  • pasta - 9 oz (250 g)
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • bacon - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • tomatoes - 3. (can use canned)
  • oil - 2 tsp
  • lentils - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • broth - 1 cup (250 ml) vegetable
  • parsley - 1 bunch
  • cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • black pepper

How to make

Clean the lentils and to rinse with a strong stream of cold water, then leave to drain. Heat the oil and fry the coarsely chopped bacon to crispness.

Remove it, and in the same oil briefly fry the finely chopped cloves of garlic. Put in some salt and black pepper and add the lentils. Pour in the broth and boil on medium heat about 25 minutes.

Add the grated tomatoes and boil for 10 minutes. Boil the pasta in salted water according to the packet directions.

Drain, pour the prepared sauce with lentils in and serve sprinkled with grated cheese and finely chopped parsley.
