  • flour - 2 cups (500 g)
  • yoghurt - 2 cups (500 g)
  • water - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • butter - to spread, as desired


Sift the flour into a large bowl. Dissolve the baking soda in the yoghurt, add salt and pour everything in to the flour. Add the water and mix until homogeneous - you need to get a rather thick mixture.

Using a ladle, scoop parts of the mixture onto a heated and oiled pan or clay dish. Once the mixture hardens and bubbles form, flip over on the other side.

Serve these large pancakes with yoghurt with a sweet or salty stuffing. Optionally, smear the still warm pancakes with a chunk of butter.find similar recipes here
