Ingredients

  • flour - 2 cups (500 g)
  • yeast - 2 tsp (10 g) dry
  • beer - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • olive oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • salt
  • garlic - powdered
  • garlic - 6 cloves pressed, to spread
  • olive oil - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 ml), as a coating
  • savory - 1 tsp, or thyme

How to make

Sift the flour into a large tray, form a well in the middle, add all the remaining ingredients and begin to knead. Mix slowly to get a soft dough. Let it sit covered in a towel for 30 minutes.

Form small balls from the risen dough, roll them out to the desired thickness and arrange in a greased and floured baking tray. Before putting them in the oven, gently pierce them with a fork.

Bake until slightly pinkish, then quickly brush with a mixture of olive oil, garlic and savory and bake for another 5 minutes.
