Ingredients

  • eggs - 5
  • flour - 1 cup
  • sugar - 3/4 cup
  • oil - 3/4 cup
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • lemon peels - 1 lemon
  • salt
  • nescafe - 4/5 cup (200 ml)

How to make

Mix the flour (which you've pre-sifted) with the baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix the eggs with the grated lemon peels and sugar and beat with a mixer for about 5 minutes. Add the oil in a thin trickle while beating, then the lemon juice.

Spoon by spoon, while constantly beating with a mixer, add the flour. Pour the cake in a container with removable walls, oil it and dust it with flour and bake at 360°F (180 °C) in a preheated oven.

Let the cake cool completely and poke it with a fork all over, densely. Make 4/5 cup (200 ml) of Nescafe (you can add 1-2 tsp sugar to it) and pour it evenly over the cake.
