Ingredients

  • pork - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • onions - 3
  • carrots - 2
  • mushrooms - 6 - 7 pieces
  • tomatoes - 14 oz (400 g), canned
  • red pepper - 2 tsp
  • savory - 1 tsp
  • bay leaf - 2
  • flour - 2 tbsp
  • salt
  • oil - 4 - 5 tbsp

How to make

The pork is cut and put in a saucepan with hot oil. Fry until it whitens and pour hot water in to cover it. Stewing lasts about one hour. In an earthenware, or simply a large casserole dish, put the meat first.

Add onions, chopped carrots and mushrooms, mashed tomatoes, spices and two cups of hot water. Finally put mixed flour and oil, then mix.

The dish is baked at a low temperature for an hour and a half. Ideal accompaniment to it is steamed rice or mashed potatoes. The products are for 5-6 servings.
