"Fruit cakes are the dessert of choice during summer, a real favorite"

Ingredients

  • sugar - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • egg - 3 egg yolks +3 egg whites
  • flour - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • baking powder - 1/2 packet
  • apples - 3, medium, grated
  • vanilla - 2 powders
  • rum - 1 tablespoon
  • liquid cream - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml) confectionery
  • fruits - of your choice

How to make

Beat egg yolks with sugar until white. Add the sifted flour and baking powder, grated apples, rum and vanilla. Finally, gently mix with the beaten egg whites until stiff. Pour the dough into a greased and lightly floured baking form and put it to bake in a moderate oven.

Let the finished cake cool for 10-15 minutes and cut it into 2 separate layers. Whip the cream into fluffy snow. Place 1 layer in a suitable tray, brush it with cream, arrange thin slices of any fruit on it, place the second layer and cover the entire cake thoroughly and evenly with cream.

Make the top decoration from sliced fruits and on the sides, stick on colored sprinkles.
