Ingredients

  • apples - 4 , yellow - red
  • sugar - to taste
  • oil - for frying
  • flour - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • fruit beer
  • eggs - 1 yolk + 2 egg whites
  • salt
  • powdered sugar
  • cinnamon - for sprinkling

Preparation

Beat the flour, 1 tbsp of sugar, the egg yolk, and some salt with fruit beer into a sludge. The sludge shouldn't be runny.

Leave it for 30 minutes in a warm area. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt into a hard snowy consistency and carefully add them to the rest of the mixture.

Cut the apples into slices 0.5″ (1 cm) thick, after removing the seeds.

Each apple is dipped well in the mixture and fried in an oil bath from both sides. The fried apple donuts are taken out, drained and spread on top with a bit of cinnamon and powdered sugar.find similar recipes here
