The first four ingredients are mixed and flour is added as necessary. Dough is kneaded and divided into 4 balls. Each ball is rolled into a circle, but not too thin. Each sheet is coated with margarine, and the last one is covered with margarine, walnuts and cinnamon.

Roll it up and cut it into snail shell shapes. Arrange them in a oiled baking dish, leaving about an 1 inch of space between them. Allow to rise. Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F (200 °C). After being baked, leave it to cool. In a saucepan put the water and sugar over low heat until the sugar is melted.

Top the cooled baklava with the hot syrup.
