Ingredients

  • broccoli - 1 head
  • cream - 1 cup sour + 2/3 cup (150 ml), cooking, liquid
  • processed cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • flour - 1 - 2 tbsp
  • cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g), grated, optional
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • garlic - powdered
  • nutmeg - 1/3 tsp
  • oregano - dried or fresh, or use parsley
  • butter - 1 - 2 tbsp

How to make

Shred the broccoli into florets and blanch them for 10 minutes in boiling water with 1 tablespoon vinegar. Drain the broccoli.

Heat the butter in a pot or skillet with a wide bottom and fry the flour. Stirring constantly, add the 2 types of cream, mixed together in advance. Add the broccoli, stir, add sliced processed cheese and spices and after a few seconds, remove it from the heat.

Serve with a little grated cheese. Optionally, you can pour it into a baking dish and bake it.
