"The French Casserole - kind of like the traditional Balkan dish of beef in a clay pot... but with rosemary!"

Ingredients

  • beef - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • chicken - 1 whole
  • salami - 7 oz (200 g) garlic
  • sausages - 2 pieces of pork
  • onions - 2 heads
  • tomatoes - 4
  • beans - 2 cans, ripe
  • garlic - 5 cloves
  • rosemary - 1/2 tsp, dry
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to make

Cut the beef into 16 pieces, the chicken into 8, and sausages into large pieces, then chop the onions and tomatoes finely. Put everything into a large greased crock; you can warm it in a hot oven in advance.

Put it to bake for 1 hour under a lid. Remove it and add the thinly sliced salami and drained beans. Put the lid on and bake for 40 minutes.

Remove, season with spices and let it bake for another 15 minutes.
