Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2 lb (1 kg) small
  • oil - 5 tablespoons
  • powdered sugar - 1 - 2 tablespoons
  • salt - to taste
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp, grated
  • parsley - chopped, for serving
  • cheese - grated, for serving

Preparation

Boil the potatoes in salted water and peel them. Heat the oil in a frying pan along with the sugar and let the potatoes fry until the sugar becomes caramelized.

Sprinkle them with salt and grated nutmeg. Optionally, serve the Danish potatoes with chopped parsley and cheese while still warm.find similar recipes here
