  • flour - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • water - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml)
  • butter - 1/5 cup (60 g)
  • yeast - 1 tsp (5 g)
  • eggs - 1 egg yolk
  • salt - 1 pinch


Dilute the yeast with a little cool water and add the flour, remaining water and salt to it. You need to get a batter that is a little thicker than one for pancakes, leave it to rise until doubled or tripled in volume. Put portions of the risen dough on a hot and greased pan and bake the pancakes.

For each pancake, brush the pan with the butter or lard and egg yolk beaten with a little water and place the pancakes on top. Once holes appear on one side, you have to flip them.

Brush the finished pancakes with butter and serve hot with yoghurt (buttermilk) and honey.find similar recipes here
