"It`s been forever since I`ve had a bread this tasty - with a soft inside and aromatic crust."

Ingredients

  • whole wheat flour - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • white flour - 1/2 cup (130 g)
  • wheat germ - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • oat bran - 2 tbsp (30 g) (wheat bran)
  • oatmeal - 2 tbsp (30 g) large
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • oil - 4 - 5 tablespoons
  • yoghurt - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • milk - 2/3 cup (150 ml)

How to make

Sift both types of flour, add the baking soda, wheat germ, oat bran and oatmeal. Stir the mixture well, add oil and the premixed milk and yoghurt. Begin stirring with a spoon.

Knead it with your hands and transfer it into an greased baking tray. Spread the dough, you can sprinkle it with some oatmeal. In a preheated 480°F (250 °C) oven, put the bread to bake for about 75 minutes. Serve cooled.
