"An aromatic magical wonder with chicken meat lies underneath the lid of this clay pot!"

Ingredients

  • chicken - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • onions - 2 heads, medium
  • leeks - 1 bunch
  • mushrooms - 7 oz (200 g)
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • peppers - 2 green
  • tomatoes - 9 oz (250 g), finely chopped
  • thyme - 1 tsp.
  • oil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • chili peppers - 2, optional

How to make

Cut the chicken into medium pieces and fry in hot oil. Remove it and in the same oil, if necessary, add a little more oil, fry the chopped onions and leeks, sliced carrots and mushrooms in that order.

Season with spices and mix it with the tomatoes. Distribute the vegetables in 2 clay pots, followed by the meat and mix.

Optionally, add 1 chili pepper per pot. Put the lids on and bake your kavarma for about 40 minutes.
