"A gentle cream made from pumpkin that`ll tickle your palate."

Ingredients

  • pumpkins - 2 lb (1 kg) roasted
  • milk - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
  • sugar - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • butter biscuits - 1 box
  • starch - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • jam - 1 cup, apricot
  • walnuts - 1 cup, chopped
  • vanilla - 1 packet
  • brown sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

Boil the cleaned pumpkin, blend and whisk with the boiled milk. Add 2/3 of the sugar. Put the mixture on the heat to boil and add the starch to this, which you've pre-diluted with cold milk or water.

Boil the cream until slightly thickened and after cooling, mix it with the pre-cut fruits from the jam, chopped walnuts, 1/3 of the pre-crumbled biscuits and vanilla. Mix everything well and distribute it into oven-safe dessert molds, on the bottom of which you've arranged the remaining biscuits in advance.

Sprinkle with plenty of brown sugar and put the molds on high heat until the sugar melts.
