Ingredients

  • pork - 17.5 oz (500 g), for cooking
  • onions - 2 large heads
  • potatoes - 5
  • carrots - 3
  • peppers - 2, not too large
  • tomatoes - 10.5 oz (300 g), canned, peeled
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • rosemary - 1 bunch
  • red wine - 1 cup
  • soya sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • rice - 1/3 cup, for garnish

How to make

Cut the pork into small cubes and season with salt, black pepper and soya sauce. Fry evenly in preheated oil until it gets a golden crust on each side. Cut the onions into crescents and add them to the pork. Let them fry on low heat, then add the sliced into wheels peppers and carrots.

As soon as they are fried, add the crushed garlic and top them up with the wine. Once the alcohol is reduced, add the mashed tomatoes. After 5 minutes, season with salt and black pepper. Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes. Put them in a greased pot with a lid and season them with salt and black pepper.

Add the rosemary and kebab on top. Top up with some hot water to cover all the products in the tray. Put the lid on and put the dish to bake at 360°F (180 °C) for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Serve each portion of pork kebabs with a side of boiled and seasoned rice.
