Ingredients

  • pork chops - 4
  • potatoes - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • onions - 2 heads
  • parmesan - 5.5 oz (150 g) grated
  • beef broth - 2 cubes
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • paprika - a pinch
  • lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • oil - 2 tsp
  • flour - 2 tablespoons

How to make

Heat the oil in a pan, roll the pork chops in flour and put them to braise for a few minutes on both sides. Put the meat in an oven dish. Peel the potatoes and onions and cut them into round slices.

Make a mixture of parmesan, salt and paprika and sprinkle half of it over the meat. Arrange the potatoes on top and add the remaining parmesan. Arrange onion slices on top. Boil the broth cubes in 1 cup (250 ml) of water, add fresh lemon juice and pour it over the potatoes and meat.

Cover the oven dish with foil and put it to bake for 40 minutes in a moderate oven. Remove the foil and let it finish cooking for 10 minutes until it gets a golden tan.
