Ingredients

  • pasta - 17.5 oz (500 g), tortellini
  • ham - 7 oz (200 g), or prosciutto
  • bacon - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • garlic - 2 cloves, crushed
  • cheese - 7 oz (200 g) + 3.5 oz (100 g) Emmental or gouda
  • cooking cream - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml), liquid
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • basil - 1 - 2 dried pinches
  • olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • parmesan - grated, for serving

How to make

Boil the tortellini according to their package directions and rinse them with cold water before draining them. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and fry the finely chopped bacon and garlic, and the ham afterwards too.

Then, gradually pour in a little cream and once it bubbles, add shredded cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste and stir until the cheese is melted. Add tortellini and mix well again.

Remove them from the heat and put them in plates. Serve with a pinch of dried basil and a little grated parmesan.
