Ingredients

  • kadaif - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • sugar - 3 1/3 cups (800 g)
  • butter - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • walnuts - 7 oz (200 g)
  • water - 2 1/2 cups (600 ml)

Preparation

Arrange the kadaif in an oven dish. In the middle, put ground walnuts. On top, arrange sticks of butter. Bake until browned.

Once baked and cooled, pour on a syrup made from the sugar with the water and lemon juice.
