"Exceptionally delightful, aromatic and tasty Italian bruschetta, perfect as a side dish, appetizer or just for eating any time!"

Ingredients

  • grape tomatoes - 8, diced into cubes
  • red onions - 1/3 cup, chopped
  • basil - 1 bunch, fresh
  • garlic - 3 cloves, chopped
  • wine vinegar - 1/2 cup
  • olive oil - 1/2 cup
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • bread - French (baguettes), sliced

How to make

Mix the chopped grape tomatoes, diced garlic and red onion in a bowl. Add the basil that you've chopped extremely finely or blended in a food processor. Add the vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper to taste and mix well.

Cut the bread into slices with a thickness of at least 3/4″ (2 cm). Put them to get toasted on one side in a greased with butter tray - the bread needs to be lightly toasted on top, while their inside must remain soft.

Put some of the tomato mixture on each slice and serve the Italian bruschetta.
