"An Italian-style pasta temptation."

Ingredients

  • broccoli - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • spaghetti - 7 oz (200 g)
  • bacon - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • cream - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • onions - 1 head
  • salt
  • paprika
  • cheese
  • nutmeg
  • eggs - 1

How to make

Shred the broccoli into small pieces. Wash and separate the stalks from the florets. First place the stalks in boiling salted water for a few minutes and then the florets and cook for about 10 minutes. Boil the pasta.

Fry the chopped bacon in a pan without oil until it is golden and crispy. Add the onion that has been cut into rings and fry. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix carefully. Place the pasta in a greased baking tray (best to use a pyrex one) and cover with the cooked broccoli.

Mix the cream, egg, grated cheese and spices and pour it over the pasta and broccoli. Bake for about 30 minutes at 360°F (180 °C) (medium oven heat), or until the dish becomes golden brown.
