Ingredients

  • eggs - 4
  • butter - 4 tablespoons, melted
  • milk - 4 tablespoons
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • flour - 2 and 1/2 cups
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • cherries - 1.5 lb (0.75 kg), pitless

How to make

Beat the eggs well and add sugar while continuously whipping the butter / oil, and milk with baking soda dissolved in it, and finally the flour with the salt.

Beat the mixture well and put it in a greased and floured form. Arrange the cherries on top, having removed the pits. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar and cinnamon.

Put the Kiev cherry cake to bake in a moderately heated oven until ready. Serve cut into pieces.
