"I woke up with the following thought - why not add some sausages to my favorite lentils with potatoes? The result was beyond excellent."

Ingredients

  • lentils - 2 cups (500 g)
  • sausages - 2 pieces of your choosing
  • potatoes - 2 medium
  • onions - 1 large head
  • garlic - 5 cloves
  • vegetable broth - 1
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)

How to make

Wash the lentils. Heat the oil in a pot and fry the crushed onions. Once softened, add the chopped sausage and fry, stirring constantly. Add lentils and top up with 8 1/3 cups (2 liters) of hot water in which you have dissolved the broth.

Allow to boil until the lentils soften slightly. And then add the chopped potatoes. Boil until ready and add the spices. Before removing the lentils with sausage and potatoes from the heat, add the cleaned and finely chopped garlic.
