Ingredients

  • cherries - 6.5 lb (3 kg)
  • sugar - 4 - 5 tablespoons per jar
  • citric acid - 1 1/5 tsp (6 g)
  • water - 8 1/3 cups (2 liters)

Preparation

Clean the cherries and remove their stems. Prepare a sugar syrup using enough sugar and water to fill the number of jars you have.

Add the citric acid to the warm sugar syrup. Fill the jars with cherries 2-3 fingers from the brim, top with the syrup, close them with caps and sterilize for 15 minutes.find similar recipes here
