Ingredients

  • peppers - 4.5 lb (2 kg), sivri
  • onions - 3 heads, large
  • tomatoes - 6 large
  • olive oil - approximately 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • salt - to taste
  • parsley - 1 bunch fresh

How to make

Chop the onion and peppers finely and sauté them in olive oil until soft. Peel the tomatoes, cut them into small cubes and add them to the onions.

Add salt to taste and once it comes to a boil, cover with a lid and leave it on low heat for about 45-60 minutes. Serve with chopped fresh parsley, either warm or cold.
