Ingredients

  • yoghurt - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • cheese - 9 oz (250 g), sheep's
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • butter - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • pickles - 8

How to make

The yogurt is placed in a cheesecloth and allowed to sit overnight in order to strain. Crush the garlic and mix it with the melted butter.

Grate the cheese in a bowl and mix it with the yoghurt and crushed garlic. The mixture is spread on halved and carved pickles.

This salad can be served with fresh cucumbers and tomatoes.
