"It`s not hard at all - just marinate the steaks and then bake them. Should we pour you a glass of wine and start cooking?"

Ingredients

  • pork steaks - 4 large
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • bay leaf - 2
  • mustard - 2 tablespoons
  • ketchup - 2 tablespoons
  • soya sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • curry - 1 tsp
  • olive oil - 2 - 3 tablespoons
  • wine - 1 cup
  • onions - 2 heads

How to make

Tenderize and season the pork to taste evenly with salt and black pepper. Beat the mustard, ketchup, soya sauce, olive oil, 2/5 cup (100 ml) of wine with curry and crushed bay leaf in a bowl. Mix well and evenly coat the steaks with this marinade on both sides.

Put them right into the pan in which you will bake them. On top, add chopped onions and cover. Allow the steaks to flavor for 1 hour at least. Then fill up with the rest of the wine and bake until tender at 390°F (200 °C) in a heated oven.
