Ingredients

  • corn flour - 1 cup (250 g)
  • cheese - 1.75 oz (50 g)
  • butter - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • salt - to taste

How to make

Boil 4 1/5 cups (1 liter) of water in a pot with thick walls and then reduce the heat. The water should be at a temperature close to boiling point, but not boiling, so the dish does not end up lumpy.

Stir constantly with a wooden spoon, begin adding the corn flour. Add salt to taste and stir until the polenta starts to come off of the walls and bottom. Add the grated cheese to the ready polenta and mix thoroughly.

Put the mixture into a cake form and let it sit for 2 hours. Then turn the polenta over on a tray and add the melted butter.
