Ingredients

  • potatoes - 3.5 lb (1.5 kg)
  • karnacheta - 17.5 oz (500 g), thin sausages
  • butter - 1/3 cup (90 g)
  • paprika
  • black pepper
  • savory - 1 tsp, crumbled
  • nutmeg - 1/3 tsp
  • curry - 1 tsp
  • beer - about 2/3 cup
  • salt
  • oil
  • parsley - 1/2 bunch

Preparation

Cut the sausages into pieces with a length of about 2″ (5 cm). Peel the potatoes, chop and fry them in a little preheated oil briefly. Put the potatoes in a large pan in 2 lots and shake for 3-4 minutes.

Transfer the fried potatoes into a greased oven dish and season them with all the spices. Add the sausage pieces, distribute knobs of butter on top and top them up with 2/3 cup of beer and some water.

Put to bake in a moderately heated oven until ready. If necessary, gently stir twice. Serve the baked potatoes with karnacheta with freshly chopped parsley.
