Ingredients

  • pancakes - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • mushrooms - 24.5 oz (700 g)
  • cheese - 14 oz (400 g)
  • cream - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • onions - 3 - 4 medium heads
  • spices - to taste

Preparation

Make or buy ready-made pancakes. Wash the mushrooms, cut them into small pieces and fry them until all the water evaporates. Add the chopped onions, stir, fry and add 3-4 tablespoons of cream. Close and leave on the stove for another 3 - 5 minutes. Coarsely grate the cheese on a grater.

Grease the bottom of a large tray with butter, put two pancakes on top of each other and then put on some of the mushroom mixture, next a pancake, then cheese and repeat in that order. For the very top, place two pancakes.

Once done, thoroughly coat everything with cream on all sides and sprinkle with grated cheese. Put it in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven and bake for about 20 minutes until you get a golden crust. Serve warm.
