Ingredients

  • cornels - 4.5 lb (2 kg), or rosehips
  • sugar - 4.5 lb (2 kg)
  • citric acid - 2 tsp (10 g)
  • water - 8 1/3 cups (2 liters)

How to make

Soak the washed fruits in water and leave them for several hours to soften, then boil for 20-30 minutes. Strain the juice, add the sugar and citric acid.

Boil once again and then strain into clean, dry bottles. Wax shut the caps.

In a cool, dark place, these can be stored for up to 1 year.
