  • rice - 1 cup (250 g), long - grain
  • onions - 5 heads
  • peas - 1 cup (250 g) (canned)
  • oil - 5 tablespoons
  • salt - 1 tablespoons


1. Rinse the rice in a deep pot and put it to boil in 4 1/5 cups (1 liter) of unsalted water.

2. Once it starts boiling, lower the heat and let simmer until soft, stirring from time to time so it doesn't stick.

3. In a metal colander, rinse the rice with cold water and leave it to drain.
