"Who says you have to give up tasty food if you`re fasting? Try our lean crackers with olives and prove them wrong."

Ingredients

  • corn flour - 1 cup
  • oatmeal - 1 cup
  • baking soda - 1 teaspoon
  • flax - 1 tsp
  • sesame seeds - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • rosemary - or caraway
  • water - 1/2 to 3/4 cup
  • tahini - 2 tablespoons
  • sunflower oil - 1 tablespoon
  • olives - 2 - 3 tablespoons tapenade

How to make

Mix all the dry ingredients and add the water, tahini, sunflower oil, olive paste to them. Mix the dough well and leave it for about an hour in the refrigerator.

Then divide the dough into parts, roll out each thinly and cut out rectangular crackers. Bake on a tray with baking paper until they gain a nice color.
