Ingredients

  • for the layer
  • flour - 1/2 cup (130 g)
  • eggs - 8
  • sugar - 4/5 cup (180 g)
  • for the cream
  • lemon juice - of 1 lemon
  • almonds - 1/3 cup (80 g), peeled
  • sugar - 1/3 cup (80 g)
  • water - 1 tbsp
  • jam - 1 tbsp, apricot
  • rum
  • for the glaze
  • water - 10 tbsp
  • sugar - 1 cup (250 g)
  • jam - 2 tbsp, apricot
  • rum - 1 tbsp

Preparation

For the layer, whip 2 eggs, the sugar and 6 egg yolks very thoroughly. Then while stirring very carefully, add a spoonful at a time of the whipped to snow egg whites and a spoonful of the flour, until out of products.

Bake the resulting dough in 2 cake forms and cut each of the layers into 2.

Smear with the cream, arrange them one on top of the other and pour the hot glaze over them. To make the glaze, heat the products for it in a pot on the stove until they homogenize.

Preparation of the cream: Boil the water with the sugar. Then add the jam, almonds, lemon juice and rum to taste. Stir well.find similar recipes here
