Ingredients

  • veal - 24.5 oz (700 g)
  • macaroni - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • milk - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • bread - 5 oz (140 g)
  • butter - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • breadcrumbs - 2 2/3 tbsp (40 g)
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • eggs - 1

Preparation

Boil the macaroni and drain them. Add the butter and stir. Grind the meat and mix it with the soaked and drained bread. Grind it once more. Add milk and salt and mix everything.

Place the mince onto a wet towel and form a rectangle. Put the ready macaroni in the middle and bring the ends of the towel together so that the edges of the mince rectangle cover each other.

Pinch the roll closed from the short ends. Put the roll in an oiled tray and smear it with an egg beaten with water. Sprinkle it with breadcrumbs and bake 40 min. at 338°F (170 °C).
